4. Websites with Different Purposes

(1) Entertaining - http://9gag.com/
This is the site where all the humorous postings are updated. Sometimes it posts photo with funny words or entertaining videos such as "Coffee table and lamp made from a corvette engine." with the awkward photo. With the photos and vides published by this site, you can enjoy them and be entertained when you have free time or do not have anything to do.

(2) Informative - http://edition.cnn.com/
Worldwide news articles are updated on this site. Political, economic and social articles are dealt in this site across the world. The articles are quite serious and handles real world such as  "The last moments of Flight 9525" so if you are interested in the current issue, you can search for it here.

(3) Persuasive - http://www.gumtree.com.au/
People can post their own advertisements on this site. In writing, they persuade site users to buy their items such as room for rent, used cars, used table or new cosmetics and so on. The writers post photos of their items to persuade readers much more effectively and inform the required information also. So this site can be categorized in persuasive writing and informative writing.

(4) Evaluative - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Many writers review the restaurants or hotels that they used before on this site. They can evaluate the place where they went from 1 to 5. The site has worldwide reviews so when people go abroad and have something, they find the evaluation of others here.

(5) Expressive - http://www.free-opinion.com/KR/EN/Worldwide users write their opinions on the specific issue that is published by someone else in this site. For example, the site asks people to vote and share the opinions on the topic like "Israel vs. Hezbollah, What do you think is peaceful?". But this is not as serious as the editorial or other formal writings because the opinions can be expressed by anyone else and the writing is very short and seems like a comment on a blog.

Infographics - Asian Street Food

The photos of the info graphic are the street food in Asia countries. I choose the color because it gives warm images. I put the photos of flags of each country and cut it into round shape. Each photo of food represents its each country. I put the photos symmetrically and make them look balanced to be visually pleasing. If you want to see other countries' street food and other kinds of food of these countries above, visit http://travel.cnn.com/explorations/eat/asia-street-food-cities-612721 .

Multimedia Writing Tools

These types of multimeda tools are very easy to write online. I don't need to think about the structure, just focus on writing the things that I want to say. It is like I'm writing text to my online friends. However I think this can be very dangerous if we use too much. We should be careful to keep my privacy.
I am interested in using instagram. Instagram is focusing on updating photos rather than text. But we can reply under the photo right away. By leaving replies, we can share the ideas about what's going on. Also I like to use Facebook because there are many useful pages that we can refer to.

Self-Introduction

My name is Minhee Kim from South Korea.

Even though, his is my first time to make a blog on Google, I have another blog account on Naver which is Korean web-searching engine.
The address is; http://blog.naver.com/ung0164
If you are interested, just click the address and see what I am enjoying.
But all the contents are written in Korean so you need to use Google translate.

Actually it is a little bit awakward to speak toward a world-wide audience.

I am majoring in tourism in Hanyang University, and my second major is business.
During the last one year, I have been to Brisbane, Australia as an exchange student.
There, I enjoyed my one year while travelling around Australia and New Zealand, spending much time on experiencing other cultures...and so on...
This is the view of New Zealand that I took picture of.
It was very beautiful and peaceful.

As it is my first semester after I came back from Aus to Korea and the last semester in my university, I am preparing for having a job that I want.
But it is more difficult than I expected, so I am pretty busy studying recently.
I hope this class would be my relaxing time to learn interesting things.

When I have free time, I usually meet friends and have a chat with them.
Now, it is spring here in Korea when its weather is awesome.
I like to take a rest at a park near Han-River, ride a bike with my friends.
I pack my lunch to share with my friends, go to the park, ride a bike, take a rest on the grass.. it is the paradise for me.
Also, I am interested in watching make-up tutorials from bloggers around the world.
This is one of the videos that I watch interestingly.
